Main Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 large eggs, separated
- 2 cups buttermilk
- ¼ cup melted butter
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
In another bowl, whisk egg yolks, buttermilk, and melted butter.
Combine wet and dry ingredients.
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form, then fold into batter.
Heat an æbleskiver pan and grease each cup.
Pour batter into each cup, cook until edges start to set, then turn with a skewer.
Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
