Traditional Danish poppy seed rolls, perfect for breakfast or a snack.

Main Ingredients
- 500 g All-purpose flour
- 25 g Fresh yeast
- 300 ml Milk lukewarm
- 50 g Butter softened
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 Egg beaten, for brushing
- 2 tablespoon Poppy seeds
1. In a mixing bowl, dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk.
2. Add the flour, softened butter, salt, and sugar. Mix until a dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
6. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape them into rolls.
7. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
8. Brush the rolls with the beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds.
9. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
