Main Ingredients
- 3 pcs Eggs separated
- 75 g Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 75 g Flour sifted
- 1 tablespoon Powdered sugar for dusting
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with half of the sugar and vanilla extract until thick and pale.
In another bowl, whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form. Gradually add the remaining sugar and continue to whisk until stiff peaks form.
Gently fold the egg whites into the egg yolk mixture. Sift the flour over the mixture and fold it in gently.
Transfer the batter to a piping bag fitted with a plain round tip. Pipe 3-inch long ladyfingers onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
Dust the ladyfingers with powdered sugar. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and firm to the touch.
Let the ladyfingers cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
