Cake Base
- 200 g Flour
- 200 g Sugar
- 4 Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 100 g Butter melted
Filling
- 500 ml Whipping cream
- 200 g Strawberries sliced
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
Gradually add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Fold in the melted butter until fully combined.
Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool completely before slicing it into three layers.
Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
Layer the cake with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.
Top with more whipped cream and strawberries. Serve chilled.
