Traditional Swedish saffron buns, typically enjoyed during St. Lucia's Day.

Main Ingredients
- 1 g saffron ground
- 50 g yeast fresh
- 500 ml milk warm
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g butter softened
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 800 g flour
- 1 egg for brushing
1. Dissolve saffron in a little warm milk.
2. Crumble yeast into a mixing bowl and add the warm milk. Stir until yeast is dissolved.
3. Add saffron milk, sugar, softened butter, and salt. Mix well.
4. Gradually add flour and knead into a smooth dough. Let rise for 30 minutes.
5. Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
6. Shape dough into small buns and place on a baking sheet. Let rise for another 15 minutes.
7. Brush buns with beaten egg and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
