  • 1 g saffron ground
  • 50 g yeast fresh
  • 500 ml milk warm
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g butter softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 800 g flour
  • 1 egg for brushing

Instruktioner 

  1. 1. Dissolve saffron in a little warm milk.
  2. 2. Crumble yeast into a mixing bowl and add the warm milk. Stir until yeast is dissolved.
  3. 3. Add saffron milk, sugar, softened butter, and salt. Mix well.
  4. 4. Gradually add flour and knead into a smooth dough. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Preheat oven to 200°C (392°F).
  6. 6. Shape dough into small buns and place on a baking sheet. Let rise for another 15 minutes.
  7. 7. Brush buns with beaten egg and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.
