Pakoras Opskrift
Pakoras are a popular Indian snack made from gram flour and vegetables, deep-fried until crispy. Perfect for a rainy day!

Main Ingredients
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- ½ cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small potato, thinly sliced
- ½ cup spinach leaves, chopped
- as needed Oil for frying
In a bowl, mix gram flour, water, salt, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, and carom seeds to make a smooth batter.
Add sliced onion, potato, and chopped spinach to the batter. Mix well.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
Remove pakoras with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
