Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 100 g Butter melted
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
Peel and thinly slice the potatoes using a mandoline slicer.
Brush an ovenproof dish with some melted butter.
Arrange a layer of potato slices in the dish, overlapping them slightly.
Brush the layer with melted butter and sprinkle with a little salt and pepper.
Repeat the layers until all the potatoes are used up.
Pour any remaining butter over the top layer.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 60 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden and crispy.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
