Ingredienser 

Main Ingredients

  • 200 g Kikærter dried
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 400 g Tomatoes canned, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin ground
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper ground

Instruktioner 

  1. Soak the dried chickpeas overnight in plenty of water.
  2. Drain and rinse the chickpeas.
  3. In a pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Add the chopped onion and cook until soft.
  5. Add the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  6. Add the chickpeas, canned tomatoes, cumin, salt, and black pepper.
  7. Simmer for about 30 minutes, until the chickpeas are tender.
  8. Serve warm.
